emd.sift.energy_stop¶
- emd.sift.energy_stop(imf, residue, thresh=50, niters=None)[source]¶
Compute energy change in IMF during a sift.
The energy in the IMFs are compared to the energy at the start of sifting. The sift terminates once this ratio reaches a predefined threshold.

A flag indicating whether to stop siftingg
